[Review] Skinfood Fresh Apple Waterproof Sun Cream SPF50+ PA+++

Hi everyone, I'm so sorry I didn't blog for so long! I had my personal reasons but now everything is good and I'm going to continue with my reviews and work on my new Skincare Routine post! Also there is going to be a new project coming soon!

Today I had to post about this sun block, Fresh Apple Waterproof Sun Cream from Skinfood.
This is the second Korean sunblock I've used. I gotta say, this one is a lot better than the Laneige one and it's more affordable as well.
Fresh Apple line is for people with large pores and oil problem. I'm glad they released a sunblock for us!

It claims to control sebum and tighten pores. It's suitable for the rest of your body as well but I have used it only on my face because I don't really go out sunbathing or wear short sleeve tops here in Ireland!

Its consistency is very thick, yet easy to apply and the finish it matte. It does leave a white glow like most of the thick white sunblocks but it disappears after 15 minutes or so.
I don't notice my face going oily until after 4-5 hours or so. In my experience, this is good!

Now the most common question about sunblocks. How does it work as a BB cream/foundation primer?
I've used the Fresh Apple Sun Cream under the Precious Mineral BB cream Bright Fit from Etude House and it locked the bb cream onto skin and helped with covering my pores. It pretty much works great as a pore primer and controls oil!

Sadly I can't use it any more because it causes a couple of spots to appear after every use. That's the only downside unfortunately. Many products cause me spots, I'm not sure which ingredient does it. I think it is the alcohol but I'm not really sure yet. I couldn't find the ingredient of this product anywhere on the web so I can't confirm if it contains alcohol but it most likely does.

MY RATING 4 out of 5

I would rate it 5 out of 5 because this is a great sunblock and good as a pore primer but it causes me spots after every use!

Have you used this sunblock before?

    1. I actually forgot to mention the smell, it just smells like the average sun block but the smells fades away after a few minutes! Thank you for visiting!

  2. I love the packaging, it's a shame that is not a good product at all, not like the fact that it is sticky.
