|Etude House| LUCIDarling Fantastic Gradiation Eyes Miss Berry Berry #8 Review

Packaging

Pink and Cute! it's pearly soft pink which you can't tell from the photo. You would have to see it in person to see that iridescent detail. More like a princess's jewellery box with a dark brown ribbon around it. It looks like a Gothic Lolita style box in my opinion. Which I love!

Inside Look

Contains white,  pink, orange and dark brown shimmer eyeshadow. And two brushes. One double brush and one tip brush. They are very pigmented and shimmery but only the dark brown and white are glittery. The pink is not very soft but not hot pink either. The orange is a perfect shade of orange in my opinion. It's not peachy but more like a tangerine shade. The dark brown reminds me of chocolate. And the white is perfect on the skin and it doesn't look like random white powder on the eyes. Also it has a big mirror which is very useful.

On the skin they look gorgeous! You can see how pigmented they are on this photo. Perfect! Not clumpy. Also they are buildable. You can get lighter look than I have on this picture by just applying one layer of the eyeshadow and by spreading it on your skin.

Brushes

The first brush is a double brush. One side is a wide eyeshadow brush and on the other side it a wide tip spongy brush. Both of them are very very soft. The wide brush can be also used as a blending brush.

The second brush is a thin tip brush. It is used to apply the dark brown eyeshadow before the eyeliner close to the eyelashes. And on under the bottom water line. This brush leaves a thick layer of eyeshadow on the skin.

Recommended Use by Etude House

On the underside of this palette it has a diagram with instructions of how to use the eyeshadows. It recommends to use the white one as a base and apply it close to the eyebrows. Then the orange or pink one as a second layer, lower on your eyelid and last the dark brown eyeshadow very close to the eyelashes before the eyeliner. And as for the  below the waterline, you can use the tip brush to apply the orange or pink eyeshadow.

I have to note that the date you see on the sticker is the date this product has been produced and not the expiration date. Also eyeshadow can last for years.

On my eye preview with the Orange eyeshadow

excuse my hairy eyelashes haha

And this is my eye! Wearing white, orange and the dark brown eyeshadow. This is how Etude House recommends the use of this but you can always apply your own way like I do sometimes. There are unlimited combinations and styles according to the type of your eyelid and crease. Like Caucasian eyes will look better if these eyeshadows get applied differently.

General Conclusion

LUCIDarling mini eyeshadow palette #8 is a very good and essential palette. The eyeshadows are not clumpy and they blend very good with each other. And you can have two different styles out of this. A pink one and a tangerine one! Wearable with colourful clothes or dark colour clothes. It is suitable with any colour of hair as well. Well apart from blue and green hair. Not to mention, it goes well with any colour of eyes too.

The goods and the bads

The things I love about his product:
  • The eyeshadoes are shimmery and two of them have a bit of glitter too
  • The eyeshadows blend well with each other
  • It contains two high quality eyeshadow brushes
  • Not clumpy!
  • Suits most hair colours, eye colours and style of clothes
  • It is in a cute and girly packaging
  • It has a diagram with how to use the eyeshadows
  • The combinations are unlimited
The things I don't like about this:
  • Nothing, I love everything about this palette!

So that's my opinions about this lovely mini palette, I hope this article was useful to you and you enjoyed as much as I did writting it. Thank you for reading!

|Etude House| Skin mal:gem Fresh Review

Introduction~
A few weeks ago I started using these three lovely products for my night skin care routine but I use the Peeling and Toner in the mornings or before I apply make-up as well. So I decided to write this review and share my experience with these products. Before I begin I must say that I'm a BIG fan of Etude House. And almost ALL the products I have used suit my skin type. My nose area is oily but the rest is normal apart from a couple of dry parts around my eyebrows which they are not dry all the time. So I need a moisturizer that doesn't make my face oily and I use a stronger one on the dry patches I get sometimes. In other words this product combination is what I needed. On this post I'm going to review the Skin mal:gem Fresh Toner oily control.

Does it work?

This is a toner for oil control. And it cleanses of course. It really does what it says. After I use this on my oily nose area, it just stops being oily. And it gets moisturized at the same time. It gives the skin the feeling of freshness and smoothness. I couldn't ask more from a toner. So if you have oily skin this toner can do miracles.

Ingredients and Use~

I did the big mistake to throw away its box which it had the list of the ingredients but I'm pretty sure that it has NO PARABENS which is very important. Because I always check if something has parabens before I buy it.
After you cleanse your face, you pour a few drops on a cotton pad and then you tap and then wipe your face with it. It doesn't feel bad on the skin like a couple of other toners I have used in the past. It instantly makes my skin feel fresh and pure. Also its scent it's great as well. It smells like fresh lemon leaves to me.

Mal:gem is the Korean word for cleanness, freshness, clarify and pureness. These toners are hypoallergenic. Great!

Goods and Bads~

So the things I love about this toner:
  • It really controls the oil on my skin
  • Moisturizes
  • No irritation after use
  • It smells like fresh lemon leaves
  • Cleanses the pores
The things I'm not happy about:
  • No cons! I love this product!
So that's my small review about this GREAT product. There is nothing much more to say other than it's GREAT~ Thank you for reading (^_^)

|Etude House| Missing U Sleeping Pack Review

Skin Mal:gem, Bee Happy Missing U sleeping pack, Peel so Good Diamond Peel
On this post I'm going to be talking about Bee happy Missing U sleeping pack.

Types of the same product~

There are two version of the Missing U pack. The first one is the Wash off after 10 minutes version and the other is the one I have. You have it on your face overnight and you wash it off once you wake up. Made of honey extracts among other ingredients, this product moisturizes my face without making it oily. I chose the sleeping pack because I wanted something to protect and moisturize my skin while I sleep. Skin repairs itself during sleep.

Details about the Product~
I love how it looks, like cream and honey. It doesn't look so white on your face. It is transparent with a hint of honey colour after the application. Which is good because we don't want to look weird during our sleep if we share the bed with somebody else! I believe this product is suitable for normal, dry and oily skin types. It's very moisturizing for dry skin and it doesn't make your skin oily after every use.

Scent and Texture~
The Texture reminds me of collagen creams. Maybe because of the honey extracts. It smells like creamy dessert with honey which I love! The scent is not bold so you can't smell it when it is on your face. And that's a good thing because we don't want the smell to keep you awake or something haha.

Does it work?

Let me talk about after the use. When I wake up and rinse it off my skin feels soft like baby skin. And above all it feels clean. Not oily but moisturized. The pores feel clean and skin feels like breathing. It's very important to feel clean after the use of night masks and cream in my opinion. So that is one of the good things about Missing U sleeping pack.

During the use~

One thing that I'm not happy about is (maybe it's just me but) I feel like my skin doesn't really breath during the night. And sometimes that interferes with my sleep and makes me wake up in the middle of the night. I feel like I  have put something on my face that covers my pores and skin and my face is unable to  breath. Some people doesn't really feel uncomfy with something like that on their face but I do feel uncomfortable. But still, it is worth it because of the results in the morning!

The ingredients!

Ingredients~
NO PARABENS which is great for everyday use!
I have noticed that it has alcohol. Many people believe that alcohol is a bad thing to have in cosmetics and skin care products because it might irritate the skin. I haven't noticed any irritation after I use this, but my skin is not sensitive. And on the other hand this product is great at moisturizing, so alcohol doesn't leave your skin dry in this case. But I don't know about sensitive skin types. So if you have sensitive skin you might want to try it on a small spot on your face for a few hours or the whole night first. The other ingredient I have noticed is Glycerin. This ingredient helps with moisture to lock on your skin while it let your breathe. Even though the "let your skin breathe" doesn't work in my case. Maybe it will work for other people's skin type. But I have heard that glycerin as by it self might irritate sensitive skin. So that's another ingredient that makes me skeptical about this product's use on sensitive skin. I'm not an expert in ingredients but I thought I should mention these two ingredients that might not be suitable for sensitive skin.

How to Use~
After washing your face, prepare skin with toner and apply the pack all over the face except for the delicate area surrounding the eyes and the lips, Get a good night's sleep, and then cleanse your face in the morning.

Goods and Bads~

So the things I love about this product:
  • Makes my skin smooth and moisturized like baby skin (after I rinse it off)
  • My skin feels clean and neat after I rinse it off
  • Locks moisture on my skin for the rest of the day
  • It has a nice and soft scent. It reminds me of creamy dessert with honey
  • Easy to apply
The things I'm not happy about:
  • My skin feels like unable to breath when I have it on during the night
So these are my thoughts and review about this product. Feel free to comment if you have any thoughts about Missing U sleeping pack.

|Etude House| Peel so good! Diamond Peel Review

Skin Mal:gem Fresh Toner, Bee Happy Missing U Sleeping Pack, Peel so good Diamond Peel
But let's start with Peel so good Diamond Peel and foam cleanser.

Other Types of this Product~
There are three types of the Peel so good peeling. The difference between these three versions is the hardness of the peeling. The red stars you see on the product indicates the roughness. Diamond Peel is the strongest one. The other two are: Natural Peel with one star ( the lightest ) and Enzyme Peel with three stars. I chose the strongest one because the pores on my skin tend to clog up all the time. And they need extra effort to get clean, plus I have to do it twice a day. Or else my skin looks really bad. So if your face and pores need a lot of effort to be clean and you need a peeling that doesn't leave your skin dry and red after every use THIS peeling is just for you.

More excited about this~
Its colour is actually transparent pink which it makes it cute. It has red "beads" that are round and they don't look like big chunks for sugar. But there are some small sugar-like chunks that are not very visible. They feel like sugar to me. I have to note that the red things and sugar-like chunks doesn't hurt your face while you massage your face with it. You can barely feel them. And that's good because most of the peelings I have used in the past weren't very pleasant during the massage and they used to leave my skin red on my oily parts. And I had to use a strong moisturizer to fix it and it used to make my skin extra oily. So peeling used to be a disaster for me but NOT anymore! Because this peeling cleans and moisturizes the skin at the same. Even though you still have to use a bit of toner after every use. It has a nice scent, not fruity but I think that helps you feel clean. It's like a "feel clean" smell that I can't really explain!

How to Use: Apply to wet face and lather. Massage thoroughly and rinse with warm water.
For external use only and avoid contact with the eyes.

I have to add that even though some peelings are difficult to rinse off because of all these micro beads, Peel so Good Diamond Peel is very easy to rinse off that it actually surprised me! Unfortunately the ingredient List is in Korean and I can't read them. If somebody can translate this, feel free to tell us about the ingredients by commenting on this post.

Goods and Bads~!
So the things I love about this:
  • It really cleans my pores and skin in general
  • Easy to rinse off
  • Doesn't leave my skin dehydrated and red
  • It cleans and moisturize at the same time
  • The micro beads doesn't hurt my face
  • It's Pink!
Things I am not very happy about:
  • Nothing! I love everything about this product!
If any of you had used this product please feel free to share your opinion with a comment!
